description If you are interested in having a RV delivered and set up on your campsite at Bolsa Chica, Crystal Cove Moro Campground, Doheny, San Clemente, or San Onofre State Beach Campgrounds, the following Concessionaire is the approved contract provider: Luv 2 Camp (888) 898-2267. No business or private party may conduct business on State Park property without an approved contract. Season for Peak Fees: 03/01-11/31 Bolsa Chica State Beach is a popular place for surf fishing for perch, corbina, croaker, cabezon and sand shark. Also popular in the summer is bare-handed fishing for California grunion, a species that only spawns on southern California beaches. The beach extends three miles from Seal Beach to Huntington Beach City Pier. A bikeway connects it with Huntington State Beach, seven miles south. Wildlife and bird watching are popular. Across the road from the beach is the 1,000-acre Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, operated by the California Dept. of Fish and Game. Check the State Parks website for additional information on the weather, suggested day hikes, or to see the park brochure, campground map, park photos, video, and more. importantInformation Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in. Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP). Be sure to visit the new Moro Campground at Crystal Cove, this coastal campground is the first built by California State Parks in over 20 years, and offers stunning coastal views, great access to the beach, miles of hiking trails and much more - all right in the middle of Orange County! For available campsites click here Moro Campground No tents allowed, self-contained vehicles only. Entry gate closes at 9:00 p.m. and park closes at 10:00 p.m. Campers arriving after gate closure time need to make after hour arrangements by calling (714) 377-5691 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. No tents allowed!!! RVs must be self-contained (including running water and flushable toilet). Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites). Electrical and water hook-ups only. Dump station is located at Bolsa Chica State Beach in lot adjacent to campsites. Park is on reservations year round.
